Due to continued growth, a company who stores and distributes well-known beverages all over the UK are currently looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a company with an excellent reputation on a temporary ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitise brewery equipment, tanks, pipes, floors, walls, and production areas.
  • Carry out deep cleaning of brewing and packaging equipment using approved cleaning chemicals and methods.
  • Operate pressure washers, foam cleaning systems, and other industrial cleaning equipment safely.
  • Follow COSHH guidelines and safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals.
  • Report maintenance issues, spillages, equipment faults, or health and safety concerns promptly.
  • Complete cleaning records and checklists accurately.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.

 

Skills Required:

  • Previous industrial cleaning, food production, brewery, warehouse, or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred.
  • Understanding of GMP and hygiene and housekeeping standards in food or drink production environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Duties involve manual handling, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, working at heights.
  • Good attention to detail and reliability.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Experience using pressure washers or industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
  • Must have own transport due to location

 

Key Skills:

  • COSSH and Chemical training will be provided.
  • Food Hygiene or Health & Safety certification desirable.

 

Rate of Pay:

  • £12.71 per hour

 

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Can be flexible on hours but must work a day shift
