Horticultural Assistant, Worksop

Available to start work from September?

We are currently recruiting for a Horticultural Assistant to join a plant nursery near Worksop.

As a Horticultural Assistant you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, picking items, moving stock from the fields, loading the stock into trailers and driving the stock to dispatch.

We’re keen to speak with anyone with previous outdoor experience, whether in a similar horticultural or agricultural role or as a Gardener, Farm Hand, Ground Maintenance or Landscaper.

Pay Rate:

• £13.50 per hour

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 7am – 15.35pm
• Opportunity for overtime during busy periods

Duties of a Horticultural Assistant include:

• Moving stock from the fields
• Loading the stock into trailers
• Driving stock around the site
• Driving stock to dispatch
• Selecting products and picking items

Skills required for this Horticultural Assistant position:

• This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions – previous outdoor experience is desirable
• Happy with manual work
• Be keen to work and learn a new trade
• Due to site location must have your own transport
