Goods In Operative with Forklift Counterbalance – Barnsley

We are currently looking for an experienced Goods In Operative with Forklift counterbalance experience to join a friendly, fast-growing warehouse and manufacturing facility based in Tankersley, Barnsley on an ongoing basis. This role requires a counterbalance licence, in house licences are accepted.

You will be working towards a long-term career offering huge scope for personal progression. In this role you will be supporting the Goods In department by unloading goods and pallets, booking in goods, labelling and other general warehouse duties. Any experience using handheld scanners would also be a bonus!

Key Details:

• Ongoing work
• Immediate starts available!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Main duties of the job:

• Unloading goods and pallets
• Checking products against delivery notes
• Counting and booking in goods using scanners
• Labelling and identifying products
• Stock counting
• General warehouse duties as required

Skills required:

• Forklift Counterbalance licence required (in-house accepted)
• Experience working in goods in
• Experience using scanners rather than pick sheets would be preferred
• In house assessment completed
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and willing to work
