Warehouse Goods In Operative, Tankersley Barnsley

We are currently looking for a full time experienced Goods In Operative to work with a fast-growing warehouse based in Tankersley, Barnsley.

In this role you will be performing general Warehouse Goods In duties such as unloading goods, checking products and delivery notes, booking goods in, labelling and stock counting. We’re keen to hear from candidates who are currently or previously have worked within a Goods In Operative role or as a Warehouse Operative in a goods in department.

This position offers immediate starts, ongoing work and inhouse forklift truck training to expand your skillset even further!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Main duties of a Warehouse Goods In Operative:

• Unloading goods and pallets
• Checking products against delivery notes
• Counting and booking in goods using scanners
• Labelling and identifying products
• Stock counting
• General warehouse duties as required

Skills required for this Warehouse Goods In Operative position:

• Experience working in goods in
• Experience using scanners rather than pick sheets would be preferred
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and willing to work
