General Labourer, Doncaster

The UK’s leading coal and firewood fuel supplier are looking to expand their team with General Labourers to start immediately for both their sites at Harworth, Doncaster (DN11).

In this General Labourer role you will be restacking bags of product, stripping pallets, wrapping finished products and repairing pallets using hand and power tools. This role does include lifting up to 25kg, and due to handling coal, you must be happy working in an unclean environment.

Pay Rate:

• £14.61 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Candidates must be happy to rotate shifts each week
• 6am – 2:30pm and 12pm -8:30pm
• A minimum of 40 hours a week must be completed to qualify for overtime

Duties of a General Labourer:

• Restacking bags of product weighting between 1kg up to 25kg onto separate pallets.
• Stripping finished pallets of product ready to be re-palletised, which can be physically demanding
• Wrapping finished product by hand or via a machine (full training given)
• Keeping a tidy work area at all times
• Full onsite induction and training per specific task
• Repairing pallets – using hand and power tools

Experience required of a General Labourer:

• Must be happy to work in an unclean environment

• Must be reliable
• Must be a team player
