Forklift Truck Drivers, Alfreton

We’re recruiting two Counterbalance FLT Operatives to join busy industrial teams. One role is yard‑based in Heanor, and the other is production/logistics‑based in Belper. Both offer long‑term, stable work with temp‑to‑perm potential.

Locations: Heanor and Belper (Belper relocating to Kirkby later this year)

Pay Rates: Heanor – £13.74 p/h Belper – £13.39 p/h Immediate Starts Available

Role Options

• Heanor – Yard FLT Operative Outdoor, hands‑on work in a recycling environment. Duties include operating a Counterbalance FLT (often with clamp attachments), moving bales, loading/unloading vehicles and keeping the yard organised. Permanent Heanor location.
• Belper – Logistics FLT Operative Indoor production support within a manufacturing environment. Duties include moving raw materials, managing stock, supporting production and maintaining good housekeeping. Relocating to Kirkby later this year – own transport required.

What You Need

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, warehouse or yard work
• Clamp attachment experience (useful for Heanor)
• Good communication, reliability and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently
• Own transport for the Belper role

Hours

• Heanor: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00
• Belper: Monday–Thursday, 06:30–16:30 (long weekends)
