Nights Forklift Driver and Production Operative, Burton on Trent

Due to continued growth and expansion, a busy warehouse in the Burton on Trent area are looking for Forklift Drivers in a production setting to join their expanding team on a night shift, on a temporary ongoing basis.

In this Forklift Driver role you will be operating reach and counterbalance forklift trucks, as well as assisting with general Production Operative duties when needed.

We’re seeking candidates with a forklift licence who have previously worked within a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or similar production role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an expanding business with lots of room to progress.

Rate of Pay: £15.21 with overtime and bonuses – pay rate includes shift premium

Hours: Monday to Thursday / 6pm – 6am

Contract: Potential temporary to permanent

Duties of a Forklift Driver / Production Operative include:

• Weighing of products
• Ensure working environments are kept clean and tidy
• General production and yard duties
• Using Reach and Counterbalance to move and put away stock
• Manual handling products up to 25kg
• Shrink wrapping pallet
• General line duties

Skills Required of a Forklift Driver / Production Operative:

• Working in a fast paced environment before is advantageous
• Must be ok with lifting up to 25kg
• Previous production experience is needed
• Must have an accredited Reach license
• Manual handling
• Must be okay working in a dirty environment
