Forklift Driver (Counterbalance 3.5 Tonne / Side Clamp & Fork), Wirksworth

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturer based in Derbyshire on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Forklift Driver looking to join a friendly team within a growing business.

Duties of a Forklift Driver:

• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Checking deliveries for quality and quantity upon arrival
• Moving stock and raw materials safely around site
• Supporting the production team with material supply
• Booking deliveries into the stock control system accurately
• Completing all associated delivery paperwork correctly
• Carrying out daily and weekly forklift maintenance checks
• Following all health & safety and 5S procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (no immediate refresher required)
• Minimum 3 years’ forklift experience preferred
• Comfortable handling large and cumbersome loads
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when booking stock
• Reliable and motivated attitude
• Ability to work safely and effectively within a busy manufacturing environment

Hours/Pay:

• Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
• £13.82 per hour
