Job Title: Food Production Operative

Location: Rotherham (S60)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm (must be able to work the occasional weekend if needed)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Food Production Operative to join a company that works with raw meat, located in the S60 area of Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing business offering full-time hours and the potential for a permanent contract.

Duties:

• Working within a refrigerated environment
• Decanting raw meat into large containers for production
• Regular handling of raw meat
• Packing orders within the despatch department
• Quality checking raw meat before despatch to ensure the highest standards
• Maintaining Health, Safety and Hygiene standards at all times
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Other general duties as and when required

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
• Previous experience in food production is essential
• Physically fit due to the nature of the work
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hygiene practices
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
