Food Production Operative (Cutter)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Food Production Operative to join our client that works with raw meat, located in the S60 area of Rotherham.

Details and Benefits:

• 6am – 2pm (must be able to work the occasional weekend if needed)
• £11.44 per hour
• Guaranteed full time hours
• Immediate start available
• Free onsite parking
• Temp to perm role

Duties:

• Working within a refrigerated environment
• Regularly handling of raw meat
• Weighing cuts of meat and poultry to specifications
• Working safely using variety of knives and tools
• Decanting of raw meat into large containers for production area
• Quality checking of raw meat before despatch to ensure highest of standard
• Ensuring Health + Safety and Hygiene policies are being followed at all times
• Contributing to controlling freshness and high product quality
• General upkeep of the work area
• Other duties included, as and when required

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working within a refrigerated environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have experience working within a food production environment
• Candidate must be physically fit due to the nature of the job role
• Reliability and timekeeping is vital
• Keen eye for detail is required
