We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Packing Operative to join a company that works with raw meat, located in the S60 area of Rotherham.

Pay & Hours:

• £12.21 per hour
• 7am – 3pm (occasional weekends if required)

Duties Include:

• Operating automated packing machines
• Physically handling raw meats to load onto machinery
• Ensuring machinery runs correctly for high-quality packaging
• Reporting errors to Management or Supervisors
• Quality checking orders before dispatch
• Labelling stock accurately for delivery
• Picking orders using paper-based pick sheets
• Maintaining cleanliness and following Health & Safety policies
• Working in a refrigerated environment
• Other duties included, as and when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production environment
• Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Keen attention to detail
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
