Forklift Driver and Production Operative, Belper

A local company in the Belper area are seeking a Production Operative with a forklift counterbalance licence to support the production team on a temporary to permanent contract. Please note this job will be relocating to Kirkby later this year. Shifts are Monday to Thursday, so role you’ll get to enjoy a long weekend every week!

In this Forklift and Production role you’ll use a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, manage stock, and help keep manufacturing process running smoothly in a busy industrial environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 16:30pm

Hourly Rate:

• £13.39ph, increasing to £14.48ph after 12 weeks

What You’ll Do in this Forklift Driver and Production Operative role:

• Use a counterbalance forklift to move materials
• Keep stock levels accurate
• Follow safety rules and manufacturing instructions
• Support production and help operate equipment when needed
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards

What You Need:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Experience in production/manufacturing/warehouse work
• Good communication and a dependable work ethic
• Own transport due to job starting in Belper then relocating to Kirkby later this year
