Field Service Technician – Riddings (Company Vehicle Provided)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.89 per hour after 37.5 hours Contract Type: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for a Field Service Technician to join a well‑established business based in Riddings. In this role, you will travel across England visiting customers’ homes to diagnose, repair, and service electrically operated furniture products and associated electronic components.

You will act as a professional representative of both the company and its high‑profile retail partners, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to an excellent customer service standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer visits — Attend customer properties to inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults on furniture products.
• Fault finding — Carry out electrical and mechanical fault‑finding.
• Repairs & testing — Complete repairs, replacements, and testing of electrical goods and systems.
• Customer communication — Provide clear, professional communication throughout each visit.
• Documentation — Accurately complete service reports and all required paperwork.
• Equipment care — Maintain company tools, stock, and vehicle.
• Compliance — Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Brand representation — Represent major national retail brands in a professional manner at all times.
