Field Service Engineer, Bournemouth

In this Field Service Engineer role you’ll be working on pumping systems, CET units, wash plants and general depot equipment, supporting the wider transport sector. The role includes a mix of planned jobs and reactive call-outs, with full training provided on all specialist systems.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, approx. 8am–6pm (flexible depending on workload)

Salary:

• £41,000 basic salary per annum
• Realistic earnings of £48,000 – £55,000+ with overtime, call-out and travel time

Duties of a Field Service Engineer Include:

• Field-based role supporting depot and transport operations across Soulbury and surrounding areas
• Working on pumping systems, CET units, wash plants and general depot equipment
• Mix of planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
• Full training provided on all specialist systems
• Travel to customer sites within approximately a 2-hour radius
• Weekend overtime available if wanted
• Call-out rota of 1 in 15 weeks

Salary Breakdown:

• Door-to-door pay
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays

Call-out payments:

• £60 per day
• £100 on Bank Holidays
• Plus a day in lieu

Skills Required:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (essential)
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Happy working independently on customer premises
• Full UK driving licence (21+, max 6 points)
