Factory Labourer, Rotherham

We are currently on the lookout for Factory Labourers to join a well-known, friendly and successful company based in the S62 area of Rotherham on a temporary to permanent contract. In this role you will be doing a variety of tasks from feeding materials into machines to stacking and quality checking the product. We’re looking for candidates with experience within a production environment, if you’ve worked as a Factory Operative, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative we’d love to hear from you!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Between 7am – 3:30pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.91 per hour

Contract:

• Temporary to permanent

Duties of a Factory Labourer:

• Feeding materials onto the machine and production belt
• Stacking and manual handing of aluminium moulds
• Quality checking set moulds for any defects
• General upkeep of factory
• Various other duties where needed

Skills required:

• Previous experience working within a production environment would be essential
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude towards learning new skills
• Ideal candidate must be physically fit due to nature of role lifting up to 30kg
• Candidates must be able to work towards deadline and targets
• Excellent eye for detail is essential
