Service Controller

Location: Cubley, Ashbourne 

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Service Controller to join a well-established and highly respected engineering business at their recently expanded Ashbourne facility.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company where you will play a key role in supporting customers, coordinating engineers and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy service operation.

Working closely with customers, engineers and the wider business, you’ll be at the centre of the operation, ensuring work is planned efficiently and customers receive a first-class service throughout the process.

The Role

As Service Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and scheduling engineers’ workloads
• Coordinating field service engineers and technicians
• Managing reactive breakdowns and service requests
• Booking service and repair work
• Allocating engineers based on location, availability and skill set
• Preparing quotations and supporting remedial works
• Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
• Managing planned maintenance schedules
• Keeping customers informed throughout the service process
• Handling incoming telephone and email enquiries
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the service department
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Experience within engineering, maintenance, plant hire, fleet, construction, facilities management, manufacturing or industrial environments would be advantageous.
