Engineer/Maintenance Operatives – Leicester

We are currently recruiting for 2 Engineer/Maintenance Operatives to join a local company in Leicester due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision. The role offers long-term career prospects within a modern and expanding environment, with the chance to progress from temporary to permanent employment. The successful Engineer/Maintenance Operatives will support production, carry out checks and assist in keeping machinery running safely and efficiently.

Pay rate:

• £14 per hour, increasing to £16 per hour once trained

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (during training – up to 6 weeks)
• Moving onto 4 on 4 off nights – 6pm – 6am once trained

Daily tasks:

• Running checks on the production lines
• Fixing breakdown issues
• Maintaining machine quality with routine checks
• Identifying and fixing small faults where possible
• Reporting issues to the team

Skills required:

• Previous experience in similar roles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving licence due to location
• Keen eye for detail
