Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm (40 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work confidently with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of electrical equipment and machinery, including:
- Pumps
- Generators
- Various wiring systems
- Diagnose faults and replace components as required
- Carry out statutory testing, including:
- PAT testing
- Fire alarm testing
- Other compliance testing as required
- Undertake motor and equipment repairs
- Conduct inspection and auditing of equipment
- Complete all installation and compliance paperwork accurately and thoroughly
- Test and certify completed jobs
- Maintain high standards in line with company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
- Carry out ancillary works where required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (Desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
