Electrical Assembler – Permanent Role
Location: Holmewood, Chesterfield
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Salary: £25,500 per annum

Responsibilities:
- Precise hand-soldering of small electronic components
- Building sub-assemblies and supporting control panel production
- Bench-testing systems and carrying out diagnostic checks
- Inspecting and quality-checking completed work
- Following detailed assembly instructions and maintaining accurate records
- Reporting faults and raising non-conformities
- Participating in 5S and continuous improvement activities
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing or production
- Confident soldering and comfortable working with small components
- Basic electrical/electronic understanding (further training provided)
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Able to work independently and within a small team
- Good communication skills and enthusiasm for ongoing learning
- Comfortable using basic IT systems for documentation
Desirable:
- NVQ in Electronics or Manufacturing
- Experience with CAN bus diagnostics or bench testing
- Background in bespoke, low-volume or high-mix assembly environments
