Electrical Assembler – Permanent Role

Location: Holmewood, Chesterfield

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Salary: £25,500 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Precise hand-soldering of small electronic components
  • Building sub-assemblies and supporting control panel production
  • Bench-testing systems and carrying out diagnostic checks
  • Inspecting and quality-checking completed work
  • Following detailed assembly instructions and maintaining accurate records
  • Reporting faults and raising non-conformities
  • Participating in 5S and continuous improvement activities

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing or production
  • Confident soldering and comfortable working with small components
  • Basic electrical/electronic understanding (further training provided)
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Able to work independently and within a small team
  • Good communication skills and enthusiasm for ongoing learning
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems for documentation

 

Desirable:

  • NVQ in Electronics or Manufacturing
  • Experience with CAN bus diagnostics or bench testing
  • Background in bespoke, low-volume or high-mix assembly environments
