Double Handler Forklift Operators, Harworth

The UK’s leading coal and firewood fuel supplier are looking to expand their team with Forklift Operators to start immediately for both their sites at Harworth (DN11) and Carlton in Lindrick (S81).

This role will involve travelling to both sites on rotating shifts.

You must have a valid counterbalance licence.

Pay Rate:

• £14.05 per hour

Hours:

• Working hours will be rotational shifts
• Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm / 2pm – 10:30pm | Carlton in Lindrick site
• Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm / 12pm – 8:30pm | Harworth site

Duties of a Forklift Operator:

• Using a double handler counterbalance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading pallets from incoming and outgoing containers
• Moving materials around a busy yard
• Taking stock off the production lines
• Coming off the truck as and when required to do other tasks such a general labouring
• Wrapping finished product by hand or via a machine (full training given)
• Full on site induction and training per specific task
• Keeping a tidy workspace

Experience required:

• Must be happy to work in an unclean environment
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of operating a double handler forklift and competent
• Have a valid license Counterbalance with double handler experience
• Must have a great working attitude and wanting long term work

The roles are starting off temporary on going with excellent opportunities for contracts for the right candidate. Onsite assessment will need to be completed before work is offered.
