Delivery Driver, Barnsley

Our client is a manufacturing company based in Barnsley town centre who are looking for a dedicated Driver to join their busy, friendly team.

This will be a varied role which involves training in all aspects of duties, the role offers a permanent position for someone looking to build a long-term career.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am – 5pm OR 6am – 2pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.08 per hour

Main duties of the job:

• Driving to various sites around Yorkshire and the surrounding areas
• Loading the work van in delivery order
• Various other warehouse duties when deliveries drop quiet
• Driving duties would include; Meeting customers on various sites and providing quality face to face customer service
• Loading the van when on site
• Checking and completing paperwork once drop offs have been completed

Skills Required:

• Standard UK driver’s license is required
• Suitable candidates must be available to assist with Driving duties as well as Warehouse Duties when needed
• Friendly, approachable and positive attitude towards work and others
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work alone as well as in a team
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines
