We’re recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support production, logistics and dispatch operations within a fast-paced factory environment.

In this Forklift Driver role you will be operating a counterbalance truck safely around the site, loading and unloading vehicles, moving raw materials and finished goods and keeping the production lines supplied. We are keen to speak with someone who has ideally worked as a Forklift Driver within a manufacturing, production or factory environment, with a valid and accredited counterbalance forklift licence.

What will a Counterbalance Forklift Driver be doing?

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely across the site
• Loading and unloading vehicles to meet customer orders
• Moving raw materials and finished goods around production areas
• Using scanners, pick lists and internal systems
• Keeping production lines supplied and running efficiently
• Supporting quality standards and housekeeping targets
• Accurately recording data and completing required administration
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting production trials and continuous improvement activities where required

What we’re looking for:

• Valid accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Previous forklift experience, ideally within manufacturing, production or a factory environment
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Safety-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, hard-working and able to work to targets
• SAP, scanning or warehouse experience would be advantageous
• Able to work independently and use initiative when needed
