FLT Yard Operative – Counterbalance

Location: Heanor
Pay Rate: £13.74 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for an FLT Yard Operative to join a well-established and growing organisation within the recycling and plastics industry. This is an excellent opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance FLT
• Using clamp attachments to move bales of plastic and recycled materials
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out basic equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Supporting general yard and production duties as required

Experience & Skills Required:

• In-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Experience using clamp attachments (preferred)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or yard environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
