This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across the shop floor, laboratory, and office, and takes pride in ensuring that every product meets exacting standards.

About the Role

We are on the hunt for someone who will ensure that all products are manufactured according to specification and procedure — maintaining integrity from First Off’s through to production. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues at all levels to drive engagement, uphold quality, and maintain compliance.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct in-process checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Perform sample testing using appropriate methods (e.g., dimensional and functionality checks).
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality metrics.
  • Support investigations into non-conformances and first article inspections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support engineering change processes.
  • Facilitate manufacturing workshops to promote engagement and quality awareness.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and liaise with external bodies when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound mathematical ability.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Confidence in training and presenting.
  • Database management experience.

Why Join Here?

At this Factory, you’ll be part of a team that values versatility, engagement, and a “right first time” mindset. The company believes in investing in its people and providing opportunities to grow and develop within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
