Cleaning Operative

Essential Recruitment are currently working in partnership with Vernacare for a full cleaner to join the team. This is a  fix term position to cover maternity.

• Working Hours are 13:45 to 21:55 Mon – Fri
• Pay Rate £12.21 per hour

Main Duties:

• To ensure the plant and machinery are cleaned according to the Hygiene Instructions
• Completion of cleaning schedule documentation as required in a clear, accurate and legible manner.
• Use all chemicals appropriately and safely.
• Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is well maintained and reporting any faults to your manager promptly.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and housekeeping at all times.
• Report problems or issues as they arise, which may impact on product quality, Production/Hygiene activities and environmental issues.
• Responsible for the reordering of cleaning materials keeping a tight inventory and control of usage.
• Replenishing of consumables across the facility such as hair nets, ear plugs, drinking cups.
• To co-operate readily, politely and amicably with other Company personnel
