Search Area: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

A building supplier, local to the S3 Sheffield area, are seeking experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers with HIAB / crane (brick grab) experience to join their well-established and growing business within the builders’ merchant sector on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, customer-focused operation with long-term career. You’ll be delivering building supplies in a Class 2 HGV vehicle, completing 6–9 drops per day.

If you’re a HGV Driver with a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence we’d love to hear from you.

 

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7am – 4pm (may run slightly later)
  • Saturday: 7am – 11:30am (rota / alternate basis)

 

Salary & Benefits:

  • Up to £38,000 per annum DOE
  • Bonus scheme: Paid in November & January (up to 10% of annual salary)

The Role of a HGV Driver:

  • Driving Class 2 HGV vehicles delivering building materials
  • Operating HIAB / crane (brick grab) safely and efficiently
  • Completing 6–9 drops per day (multi-drop environment)
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Working within a fast-paced, busy yard environment

 

Experience:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid HIAB / crane licence (brick grab preferred)
  • Experience in multi-drop deliveries
  • Comfortable with manual handling
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
