Class 2 Driver | Sheffield | Ongoing work with a growing business

We’re recruiting for experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a growing specialist removals and relocation business based in Sheffield.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving and removals work, supporting commercial relocations, office moves and specialist transport projects across the UK. If you’re a professional HGV Driver who enjoys a mix of driving, customer interaction and physical work, this could be an excellent opportunity.

With weekly pay, paid accommodation, night-out allowances and premium weekend rates, you’ll enjoy strong earning potential and a varied workload where no two days are the same.

Pay Rate:
  • £15.50 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • £25 per night working away + digs provided
  • 1.25x rate on Saturday
  • 1.5x rate on Sundays

  • Approximately 50 hours per week
  • Hours vary on the job
  • Mainly Monday to Friday

 

Duties of a Class 2 Driver:
  • Drive an 18 Tonne vehicle to customer locations throughout the UK
  • Carry out commercial and domestic removals
  • Load and unload furniture, equipment, and specialist items
  • Work alongside removals crews on-site
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
  • Support large commercial moves with teams of up to eight staff
  • Occasionally stay away overnight when required

 

Skills Needed for this Class 2 Driver position:
  • Category C licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good physical fitness and manual handling capability
  • Flexible attitude towards early starts and working hours
  • Previous removals experience preferred
  • Minor endorsement points may be considered
  • No drink or drug driving convictions
  • Reliable and professional approach to work

This role would suit experienced Class 2 Drivers, HGV Drivers, Cat C Drivers, Removals Drivers, Driver Porters and Logistics Drivers looking for ongoing work, nationwide travel and excellent earning potential within a growing specialist removals business.
