Bakery Assistant (Afters) – Parkgate, Rotherham

We are currently recruiting for a Bakery Assistant to join a local family-orientated company in Parkgate, Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a friendly, expanding team. The role offers long-term work with immediate starts available and is ideal for candidates who are reliable, physically fit, and have an eye for detail.

Details:

• £13.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday (occasional weekend)
• 4pm–10pm shifts
• Immediate starts available
• Long-term work

Duties include:

• Packing, labelling and prepping goods for despatch
• Cleaning production rooms, packing areas and factory equipment
• De-boxing and manual handling of products
• Visual inspection and quality control of baked products
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Ensuring health, safety and hygiene policies are followed at all times

Skills required:

• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience in a food environment is beneficial but not essential
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Physically fit and able to work to deadlines
• Excellent eye for detail and quality
