Bakery Operatives – Days / Nights

Our family orientated client based in the Carlton area is on the lookout for experienced Bakery Operative’s to grow with their friendly expanding team.

Key Details:

• Days or nights : 7am – 7pm & 7pm – 7am
• Packing Operative : £12.71 per hour
• Production Operative : £13.60 per hour
• Immediate starts available
• Rota basis – Opportunity to choose your own shifts (Between Monday – Sunday)
• Ongoing work

Production Operative:

• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Weighing ingredients from job sheets
• Digging and mixing products by hand (gloves provided)
• Filling machines when required
• Cleaning down the production room, floor and equipment
• De-boxing & manual handling of ingredients
• Visual inspection of ingredients and finished products
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene polices are being followed at all times

Packing Operative:

• Working on conveyor system, quality checking & packaging of items
• General upkeep of working area (sweeping, mopping & disposal of rubbish)
• Working within a fast paced environment
• Reporting of any discrepancies, accidents & near misses to Shift Managers

Skills Required

• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience working within a food environment would be essential.
• You must be reliable and have good timekeeping
• Candidates must be physically fit and able to work to deadlines
• Excellent eye for detail and quality
