Since its formation in 2002, this family run business has grown in size and reputation.

Due to continued increase in business, we now have a requirement for an Auction Porter to join one of our auction houses based in Derbyshire on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties to include:

• Handle a wide range of valuable items, from large pieces of furniture and paintings to delicate ceramic and glass
• Assisting with the day-to-day saleroom duties including; dealing with customers and stock items
• Assisting with the preparation of internet catalogues; receiving, photographing, displaying and processing lots
• Picking and packing purchased lots for dispatch
• Supporting customers with loading their vehicles
• Loading and unloading vans
• Other general duties including viewing and sale day roles.

Skills Required:

• Good customer service skills
• Good computer skills
• Good attention to details
• Interest or experience in photography will be an advantage however training will be provided
• Good work ethic
• Flexibility with hours
• Ok with lifting
• Driving license is required

Rate of Pay:

• £11.44 per hour

Hours of work:

• Week 1 Monday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 5.30am, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday 9am to 6.30pm
• Week 2 Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30am
