Assembly Operative, Sheffield S9

Looking for long term work with a 3 day weekend?!

A local manufacturer to the Sheffield S9 area are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join their team as Assembly Operatives.

You’ll be playing a key role in producing high-quality mobility aids such as crutches and walking frames. We’re keen to speak to candidates with Assembly Operative, Production Operative or similar experience.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity – ideal for candidates looking to build a long-term career!

Benefits:

Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday / 7am – 5pm
• Thursday / 7am – 4:30pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities of an Assembly Operative:

• Assemble crutches and walking frames following detailed instructions
• Use hand tools safely and correctly
• Follow manual handling procedures (lifting, carrying components)
• Maintain general housekeeping and a clean, safe workspace
• Work on your feet throughout the shift
• Follow work instructions accurately and efficiently

Requirements for this Assembly Operative position:

• Assembly and production experience is essential
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
