Assembly Operative

We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative on behalf of Northern Engineering, a well-established company based in Dinnington. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term employment with excellent training and development opportunities.
Role Details:
- £13.25 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:15pm
- Temp to perm (12-week probation period)
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out detailed product testing and quality checks
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Recording results accurately and completing relevant paperwork
- Identifying faults and reporting quality issues
- Ensuring products meet strict tolerance and specification guidelines
- Using buffing machines, gluing ends together, and fusing products
What we’re looking for:
- Previous production, assembly, or engineering experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and good eyesight
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable with repetitive and seated work
- Good manual dexterity
