Accounts Administrator – 5 months fixed term contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: £28,392 per annum (pro-rata)

Due to continued growth and expansion, a local wholesaler of soft drinks, wines and spirits are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator on a 5 month fixed term contract at their office in Doncaster. This role will involve processing transactions, credit control, account management, raising credit notes and other accounting duties. We’re looking for someone working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and record management. We’re really keen to hear from you if you have experience working within credit control, taking payments, setting up account forms, credit limit requests and raising credit notes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking customer payments and processing transactions accurately
- Assisting with credit control activities and account management
- Setting up new customer account forms and maintaining account records
- Processing credit limit requests and updating customer information
- Raising credit notes and supporting the wider finance function
- Managing customer queries via phone and email
- Maintaining spreadsheets and records using Microsoft Excel
- Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate and up to date
- Supporting the team with general administration duties
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Experience and Skills:
- Experience working with credit control, including taking payments, setting up account forms, credit limit requests and raising credit notes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and record management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Good organisational and time management skills
