We’re looking for experienced and reliable 18 Tonne Drivers to join a busy specialist removals operation based in Sheffield (S9).

This Loader position involves transporting and relocating a wide range of items for residential, commercial, and specialist moving projects.

You’ll work as part of a professional removals team, carrying out everything from office relocations to large-scale moving contracts.

Pay Rate:

  • £15.50 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • £25 per night working away + digs provided
  • 1.25x rate on Saturday
  • 1.5x rate on Sundays

 

Hours:

  • Approximately 50 hours per week
  • Hours vary on the job
  • Mainly Monday to Friday

 

Duties:

  • Drive an 18T vehicle to customer locations throughout the UK
  • Carry out commercial and domestic removals
  • Load and unload furniture, equipment, and specialist items
  • Work alongside removals crews on-site
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
  • Support large commercial moves with teams of up to eight staff
  • Occasionally stay away overnight when required

 

Skills Needed:

  • Category C licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good physical fitness and manual handling capability
  • Flexible attitude towards early starts and working hours
  • Previous removals experience preferred
  • Minor endorsement points may be considered
  • No drink or drug driving convictions
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
