Npower in an effort to control it’s poorly rated service in the UK has decided to make 1460 jobs redundant and outsource the same jobs in India.

Who the hell made that decision in Npower? They obviously haven’t rung their own support desk! When we witness more and more businesses returning to the UK for obviously the right reasons, some executive thinks it a good idea to go to India. No wonder our energy prices are going up… Heaven help us!

 Capita are the preferred suppliers for Npower’s outsourced customer service and back office tasks, alongside Indian company Wipro and the UK’s Computacenter for IT related jobs.

 The government has called for a price freeze until the 2015 elections – a move that will attempt to shift the blame of price rises away from Government green levies.
