Here is the team of golfers from the Branston Golf and Country club who on the 12th September walked 20 miles in aid of the Burton Breast Care fund – a charity that uses donations to fund new equipments and treatment at Queen’s Hospital. The team, led by Lady Captain Rebecca Smith ( Our Burton branch manager!) raised over £3,000 for the 8-hour walk along the North Wales Coast.

Bec told the Burton Maill: “It was a testing challenge in tough conditions but it was all worth it in the end.
“We are set to raise more than £3,000 but we are also still accepting donations if anyone would like to dig deep and help a good cause.” She chose the charity due to losing her mother, Kate to breast cancer 23 years ago.

Mr. Wilson, MD at Essential Recruitment, sponsored the 18th hole. We popped a few little reminders on the course, too!
