Social Events

From sailing to the Crystal Maze, we’ve done it all! Every year we get together for a social event where we can catch up with colleagues from other branches, let our hair down and have some fun. Work hard, play hard!

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

Birthdays are special, and we insist you take the day off! (Unless you come in for the inevitable cake and attention)

You’ll be paid as normal and it won’t be taken from your holiday allowance. Woohoo!

 TGIF

Friday is basically the weekend, so we act like it!

We pay 50p per week to dress down on Fridays (and this 100% goes to charity), plus most branches take the celebrations one step further and will order breakfast in the morning.

Mental Health Week

During Mental Health Awareness week we run awareness campaigns, setting up activities around learning and sharing information. We think it’s super important to prioritise wellbeing and are always looking for more ways to support our employees!

Don’t know much about recruitment? Don’t worry. Here are some common questions – but this is just the tip of the iceberg. We’ll teach you everything we know in time!

What does a recruitment agency do?

We find suitable candidates for our client’s vacancies, and then employ them, (when they’re working on a temporary contract) which involves things like processing their wages, their holiday pay, keeping an eye on their wellbeing etc.

How does a recruitment agency find clients?

We speak to local companies who operate in the industrial / commercial sector to find out if they could benefit from our services – or they contact us. We keep up to date with company news, new openings/closures etc by physically driving round, calling, reading local updates etc.

How does a recruitment agency make money?

We charge our clients a margin on top of the candidate’s hourly wage.

Why do recruitment agencies need candidate’s passport / bank details?

This is a common question from candidates – and it’s a very innocent answer! When employing temporary staff, we need to verify their Right to Work (hence requiring their passport) and then we need to pay them (hence requiring their bank details).

If you’re ready to go ahead and apply, here are our current vacancies…
